What are some ideas for a 30-second broadcast that would get students to vote for me for recording secretary?

I am running for the position of recording secretary in my freshman cl. In the morning during homeroom, I have to go on TV and make a short but memorable, 30 SECOND speech, basically telling people to vote for me. Does anybody have any helpful hints? Also, I sometimes get nervous in front of a camera. Any suggestions for that?
