How would I go about getting my son into music?

You can't force him too, that makes the child rebel because they probably feel pressured. Just see what he does on his own and maybe he'll come around. Ask him what he wants to do. But by that question, you set very rude and like you just need to relax. He's not going to be a musician just because you tell him to. By now, he's probably annoyed with it and most likely, he'll never want to do music.
