Tips On THAILAND ?And THAVORN BEACH VILLAGE AND SPA?

We will be honeymooning at thavorn beach village and would appreciate tips on the local area though we know its 5 mins to patong. Shopping, eating, mage and beauty, and any other local info or even links regarding renting motorbikes and push bikes. Have read about the main stuff to be wary of in thailand, am hoping that anyone who knows the resort or area that can share their wealth of expertise and knowlege or anyone that just has reccomendations for resturants, other resorts that do buffet specials and happy hours!.
