How do you shoot a crocodile? What caliber?

This is only curiosity. I'm not going hunting. But I hear it takes a CNS hit/brain or spine. What would, for instance, buckshot do? Would hydrostatic shock from a near-miss head shot from, say, a .338 Win Mag with a Barnes X trash the brain?
