Stocking a Fluval Edge?

I don't recommend adding any labyrinth fish to a Fluval Edge. These tanks have only a tiny square of actual surface for these fish to gulp air, so it is not ideal for them to be in this design, even if the size is appropriate for a betta. Sicne it is only 6 gallons, I recommend leaving the stocking the way it is, and not adding anything else.
