I am not trying to save this friendship?

I have a soon to be family member who is a liar and two-faced. I thought she was my friend and confidant, to find out that she goes behind my back twisting everything I say to make me seem like a bad person when those are her thoughts, she has spread lies and is just having too much fun causing drama.....I am truely tired of biting my tounge and turning the other cheek and looking like an idiot or as if I do have something to hide by not saying anything. I have tried to lay low, but I have had enough and I need tips on how to call her out on her lies and put her in her place tactfully, not sure that can even be done. I am no longer interested in conserving a friendship with her....any ideas?
